Reporting on number input

Setting up a test 3CX server and one thing we currently report on is what a customer has selected within the IVR, so on one of the menu's we ask our customers what vendor they are ringing in regards to, so then at the end of the month we like to see from X amount of calls, vendor A had this many, vendor B had this many etc.

One thing is that we still want the calls to only land at one queue, 'Sales' so this choice needs to be asked and then go to one queue to keep it simple for logging in and out.

I know on our old trixbox pro system we could pull a report to show details like this but not sure if 3CX has this, or failing that, would call flow designer allow recording like this, or failing that I guess using VoipTools to push all the data to SQL where we can slice and dice it..

CFD could to this, VoipTools could do this, or you can do an ugly hack to to go IVR -> Dummy Extension - Queue and then you should be able to do a report on the calls hitting the dummy extension.
 
Or you could build a report yourself using the CDR files that can optionally be created by 3CX. These files are created when the call is disconnected and they show all the legs of the call (comma separated list). When you see that a call went to a Digital Receptionist extension, then to another extension, you can infer which option they selected. It's a little messy, but it's another option.

We can help you get the CDR information into a database using our Exporter tool.

Very much thinking once we have VoipTools and SQL exporter we'll be able to drill into anything, but sometimes nice to use existing systems for simpler tasks.

Either way, seems dummy extension is going to be a good friend of mine..
