Restore Fails on 5.1

    Dear All,

    I followed the backup and upgrade procedure as per 5.1 on the forum.

    Once the upgrade was done I proceeded to restore the database. It is hanging on history table and its taking a long time to pass this stage.

    Anyone got any ideas.

    Yes, leave it, it's not hung, it just takes AGES to process.

    Hi,

    the script has a 7200 seconds of timeout. In my PBX (pentium 4 2ghz, 1 Gbyte ram), I cannot import the history because the script end after 7200 seconds.

    Can I copy the history in other way?

    My restore worked in the end. It just took ages to restore.

    3CX support also noted this.

    If I install the 3cx PBX in a dualcore 2ghz, 2gbyte ram, I can restore the history, but in my PBX PC (pentium IV) The script go in timeout.

    Yes it has to do with history of the phonecalls. The next time you shouldn't backup the history of phonecalls, only the rest.
    You will see, it will run fast then.
