We currently have a RINGALL ring group that rings 4 receptionists when someone dials 0 during office hours which are 8am to 5pm. We have a user that would like to be in this group only from 8am to 10am.

Can anyone suggest a good way to accomplish this? If the user could enter/exit the ring group on their own they would be happy with that as well.

    Thanks!

What comes to mind, would be to add a dummy extension, as a member of the ring group, that makes use of call forwarding to send a call onto the desired extension for the times required. Haven't tried this myself so there may be issues/limitations if there is no extension actually registered (It's been a while since I looked over all of the CF options).

We setup a queue and had the receptionist login to it when they were on call, works awesome. You can set it up so that if they miss a call it can be routed to digital receptionist.
