Ring Groups and Individual Rules

    Hi, does rules defined in the ring groups override the individual rules defined per extension? I ask this because a lot of our clients have the phones numbers for direct dial, therefore am I inclined to define rules for each extension should it for example, go busy, not registered or unavailable?

    I know that for things like forward if no answer, the rule in the ring group will be used, not the extension, because more than one set can be ringing at the same time.
