    Hi,

I recently installed 3CX Phone System 12.5. I have imported the configuration from version 12.0.

I have set-up a VOIP Provider, which connects to extension 101.
On extension 101 I have set a mobile number.
Extension 101 is set-up to "Ring my extension and mobile at the same time", for both internal and external calls.

However, my mobile number is not called at all. Here is the Activity Log, from one external call, from last to first in time:
    29-jul-2015 10:31:24.238 [CM503008]: Call(C:2): Call is terminated

Sometimes it does work. I just changed the "Awäy" settings of extension 101, which does not have to do anything with ringing my mobile at the same time, and suddenly my mobile was ringing.
    The extension status is Available.

I do not see any reason why the first time my mobile was not rang, while, after the configuration change, it was.
Appearantly, something breaks over time and is repaired after a minor change. That should not be necessary. Agree?

    Best regards,
    Gerdo Lansing

It seems it some kind of sleep related issue.
When it works it will work the rest of the day. But when no one is calling us for over a day, 3CX stops dialing my mobile number.
After changing a setting on the extension, 3CX wakes up and my mobile number is dialed.

I did not notice this issue on 3CX version 12.0.

Are you using the same hardware that you were on Version 12? Any additional programmes added to the server/PC since?

Have you tried, using any other extension, same thing happening? What about straight call forwarding to an outside number? Does that also begin failing after a time?

Have you tried an un-install and a fresh install and re-provision? While rare, there could be a corruption.

Straight dialing works. I have set a forwarding rule to dial an external number when the Phone is not answered within 20 seconds and this number is indeed dialed after those 20 seconds.

The hardware did not change it was an inplace upgrade (back-up config, uninstall 12.0, install 12.5, import back-up).
    No other software installed.

I did not try another extension yet.

I guess I will wait for version 14 to become available (not the RC) and then reinstall from scratch. That will probably solve it.

I would try that and see if the behaviour is different.

I suspect that there is something else at play here. While a new version may solve this, it may not , if, it is being caused by something on your system.

I have set-up de provider settings to ring another extension. And configured this extension with my mobile number and ticked the setting to ring both the Phone and my mobile.
Let's see if this helps. I will let you know.
