    Hello All,
I have an issue maybe someone can help me with. When I am on the internet traveling I am unable to make calls from 3CX VoIP phone (v.3.1.6288.0) outside my firewall. When I VPN in I have no issues making calls internally or externally.
I can dial from an internal extension (x503) to the external VOIP Phone (x515) and receive two way audio/voice no issues
I have read many of the posts here and have tried the fixes but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

    Configuration:
Windows 2008 Enterprise Edition with SP2 applied
    Uses IIS 7
    3CX v.7.1.7139.0 fully updated
    on all workstations

    Firewall
NAT, ports redirected to 3CX server

    External Workstation
    Windows 7 RC
    Extension: 515
    3CX VOIP Phone v.3.1.6288.0
    Connection Settings: External
I am out of the office – extern IP: 67.x.x.x
    No Tunnel chosen
It will connect and show as an available extension in the 3CX management console.

67.x.x.x is the external IP address
Here is an excerpt of the log when I try and make a call to an internal extension:

I'm curious as to why both extensions, internal and external have IPs that both begin with 67 and this wasn't a tunnel or VPN call.

    Hi Discovery1
Thank you for your reply. I have a question; I looked at the link, since these are extensions which are registered to the 3CX server I am not using a "Provider" to dial to each other so why would I need to change anything?

    Hi Leejor,
Thank you for your question. They both have 67.x.x.x since I have a block of IP's from my service provider
x503 (internal not roaming) would be connected to the 3cx server and the 3CX server connected to the internet through my ISP's router would be 67.x.x.25
x515 would be connected to the internet through my ISP's router would be 67.x.x.26
I use this for testing since both systems are on differnet networks
Regardless of where I connect (airport, coffee house or hotel) I receive the same error

Any help from anyone would be gratedully appreciated.

    Thank You

    Hi
We just released two days ago a new version of our 3CX Voip Phone, labelled 3.1.8571. It has no many features added, but several important issues fixed. Please try it, if it doesn't work too, then I will ask for some furhter informations.

    Regards

What do your 3CX logs show when the softphone first registers? Is Stun enabled at the remote end, and all of the ports open on your firewall/router?
