Routing outgoing call to internal extension

    Hello,

    A few days ago we bough a Cisco SPA112 to move the dialer at entrance door of our building from analog to VoIP. Configuration was quick and easy, but we found a small problem we cannot solve: the dialer always calls to the same number and we need to redirect that call to an internal extension in our 3CX server.
    We have tried stripping all the digits of the number and preprending the desired destination extension, among any other workarounds, but without any luck. Is there any way we can accomplish this with 3CX without having to replace the door dialer completely?

    On the door dialer, can you not change the number it dials

    Haven't used the SPA112, but if it is anything like the previous SPA devices from Linksys/Cisco then it has an internal dialplan which should allow for complete manipulation/substitution of received digits. You may not be "crafting" the dialplan correctly, or there is another option not set, to make use of the dialplan.

    There are many more if you do some searching.

    The outbound rule in 3CX will do digit substitution, up to a point. I seem to recall that trying to remove 10 digits was too many. Outside numbers can be routed out, then in, using a loop trunk, but you use two call licences per.
