    I have upgraded to version 11 and have Grandstream 2100 phones with frimware 1.0.4.9.
    In ver 10 the phones had to blfs as SPO and SP1. Calls could be parked by answering call then press transfer then a park button.
    Now when you press the transfer button a message appears on screen to dial ext or select button. The call will not park when the park blf button is selected, it can be transfered by dialing an ext. I have given the users the rights to park and un park calls.
    What am I missing to use this function? The phones were provisioned with 3cx.

    This only occurs for external calls. The phones were provisioned in 3cx.
    I think the problem is caused because I have multiple phones programmed with a second extension (121) and some with (122).

    I have used this method so ring tones can be different for internal vs external calls.



    Is there a setting in v11 to change or is this a programming issue?

    Grandstream thinks that it is a setting in 3cx since we can park internal calls.

    Not sure if this is your issue or not, but in 3CX v11, there are new "rights" that have to be assigned to users. One of the rights is "Can park all calls" another is "Can unpark all calls"

    To edit these rights: 3cx Phone System -> Extensions -> Add Extension Group -> Rights

    I had to creat one extension group for all of my users and then assign the rights to park and unpark.

    Not sure I like this security 'feature'... To allow users to unpark a call - they have to have other rights such as transfer, divert, etc.
    I have groups based on departments, but 1 operator.
    She parks a call - and the person can not get it as she is in a BUILDING group with breakrooms, copy rooms, etc,
    So - the phone MUST have a SP...

    I would like the user to be able to park any call - but not have all of the other rights.

    capitol1: I think these rights only apply to MyPhone. Atleast here with my Yealink, anybody can park/unpark anybodys calls.
