Salesforce - creating lead record on inbound call.

    Hi All,

    I have set up the Salesforce integration so 3CX looks for existing leads and creates a task to log the inbound call on that lead, which works fine.

    However, is there a way that when an inbound call takes place and a lead record is not found, it creates the task anyway so we can track all incoming calls via reporting on Salesforce.

    We do not want to use the "Create Contact if not known" as contacts are completely unrelated to our lead object.

    We do not necessarily need a lead record creating; just the task within salesforce to prove there was an inbound call from an unknown source.

    You can customize the existing salesforce plugin and with few lines of code you can made it.
    The plugin is located where 3cx client is installed into this path C:\ProgramData\3CXPhone for Windows\PhoneApp\DotNetScripts\Salesforce

    Open the solution and make the modifications. Then upload it to management console in the integration section and assign your custom plugin to the extensions that you need.
