Solved Second call goes to voicemail instead of second line

    First of all, I could be off my rocker and under caffeinated. But I THOUGHT that if you were in a call and someone called in, the second line on a Yealink T46 would indicate that a second call is coming in (call waiting is enabled on the test phone). However, the second calls are going straight to voicemail.

    I did upgrade to 15.5 two days ago, but I can't confidently say it was working before then. Any thoughts on this?

    Hello @giwm,

    Could you please specify, is this extension part of a Ring Group or a Queue?
    Also, you've mentioned that "call waiting is enabled". Can you explain how you enabled the feature?

    The extension is a member of a ring group, but I was calling it directly when testing.

    On the Yealink T46, Call Waiting is enabled by default, though I'm not sure if the provisioning affects this. Verified this by logging into the web interface of the phone and clicking Features > General Information > Call Waiting and seeing it is set to enabled.

    Under Extension - Phone provisioning - Scroll down to options - Tick accept multple calls

    @Taff3333 That option does not exist in 15.5.

    Meant forwarding rules not phone provisioning.the option is defo there

    Aha! :) Thanks. I had poked around and somehow missed that option, even after your suggestion. Will test shortly.
