Second call using CTI mode

One issue I find is users have a lot of trouble making a second call while in CTI mode. In particular, the phonebook cannot be searched and contacts are greyed out making it hard to read.

Phones in use are Yealink T27s but T23s have the same issue as well.
 
This is really hurting in our call centre.
To view phonebook or dial out, users must log out of the queue or change status to stop the (soft) phone ringing.

They used Myphone without a problem for years.
 
Please address this. Call centre staff are becoming hostile.
