    Hello,

I want to create a workflow where a client can choose to login (press 1) or logout (pressing 2) , then enter her PINcode and then a mail is send to person X with the PINcode , login or out and the caller ID (or even the company linked to that caller ID) in the mail message.

Is this possible with VAD, or what is possible ?

    Hi Nick,

Yes, it's perfectly doable with the VAD.

    To do it:
    - First you can use a menu component to select 1 or 2.
    - Then a user input component to enter the PIN.
    - Then use an Email Sender component to send the message.
    - You may use a Database Access component to lookup the customer name based on the caller ID for example.

If you have any other question do not hesitate to contact me again.

    Kind regards.

The caller ID is available thru the session.ani variable. You can use that variable to the get the actual value, and insert it in any expression in your callflow, for example the mail body or the mail subject.

    This article explains exactly that:
    http://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/emails-from-vad/

The email subject contains the caller ID.
