Sending variables to phonedisplay

    Dear support team,

    we are currently building a project where a customer is verified against a database with phonenumber , in the next fase we relate the phonenumber with a customer number.

    Is it somehow possible to transfer the customer number to the phonedisplay with vad ?

    phone we are currently using are yealink t2x and snom 300

    and do you know what variables can be used with the 3cx myhpone ? (currently using %CallID%)
    are the more possibilities ?

    or should i post this on another forum ?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately there is no way to change the information displayed on the phone. Something you could do is send the information to an application installed in your agent PC. For example, the VAD could connect to that application via socket and send the customer number, so when the agent receives the call he/she knows the customer number.

    Another option could be develop a plug-in for the CRM Integration module. That way, when the call arrives you can perform a lookup in the customers database using the caller ID.

    In regards to the notifications with 3CX MyPhone, you can only use %callid%.
