Sennheiser MB Pro / buttons answer / end call does not work

    I tried everything ... I just can not get the button to work like i want.

    I want the button the headset to END Calls.

    The Headset is directly connected to my laptop with bluetooth.

    On my audio/speaker right below in Windows 10 I can use 2 options:
    Sennheiser MP PRO Stereo
    Sennheiser MP PRO Hand-free

    I selected Hand-Free, because then I can hear myself when dailing *777 (self test)


    I tried this:
    1. Sennheiser Updater: New firmware uploaded (check!)
    2. Installed: Sennheiser 3CXPhone Plugin (check!)
    (it did create a DLL: C:\ProgramData\3CXPhone for Windows\PhoneApp\Sennheiser3CXPlugin.dll)

    Did restart computer..did not help

    I did even installed HeadSetup...did not helped

    I did read the 3CX manual...did not helped

    Did you exit 3cx client prior to installing plug in ?

    Yes I did.
    Did ever a repair and reboot.

    That's all that comes to mind, had similar issue with 2 UC presence which are pretty much same device.

    One one of them firmware update sorted it out. The other required reinstall of 3CX client and plugin, as I had doubts the client was closed first.

    Assuming your on V15/15.5 ???

    today I tried on another computer with a new(!) Sennheiser MP Pro, windows 10, with 3cx client, then Sennheiser 3CXPhone Plugin, rebooted...same problem....the button is not working like I want. I want :
    when I am in a 3cx call (*777) then I want to push the button (1 seconden) to hang up the call....it's impossible

    Is there anyone out there having a bluetooth headset with working buttons , other brand?

    Yes. I'm using a Plantronics Voyager legend. The call/ answer button doesn't engage the app on my phone --- you need to tap "answer" on the app to connect the call through Bluetooth. I'm running 3CX version 5.1 and Android 7.1.1. Are you iPhone or Android?

    I got very very bad news.

    3CX is only MP Pro 2 UC supported...and not the one without 'UC' . this is very very bad, because on NON of the pages is saying only the UC is supported. I got NO Sennheizer USB dongle. I do not want, every person is using a Surface, why do want to add a stupid bluetooth dongle? a second one.

    Als called Sennheizer they did know only the UC is supported, they advised me to buy 9 expensive Sennheizer dongle :(

    I made a complain to the support of 3CX

    Why oh why nobody is putting this on the support website of 3CX?
    why oh why nobody can make software to get Call Contract working with every bluetooth device?

    If you would have a section with 'Call control not working', with a remark of 'Not all Sennheisers work with call control only UC versions'...then I would never made this expensive mistake.

    Also note here in the Sennheiser manual https://en-us.sennheiser.com/global-downloads/file/1822/MB_Pro1_Pro2_EN_0414_INT_new.pdf
    in page 3 it also shows the models and what is supported , Non UC version - mobile phone, UC version - mobile phone and laptop (softphone client). A search for "sennheiser 3cx supported headset"| in google would have given the link with the supported headset and if in doubt about something we are always open for inquiries as well
