I've been demoing the 3cx system, and like what I see so far.
One thing I've come across, is that outlook integration requires a contact to be in outlook. We have an exchange server, with a global catalog. We've never had use for sharing, or implementing a shared contact public folder, but I can see the benefits now, with being able to right click a contact, and "call", or "call from phone".
I'm concerned about doing this, now that microsoft is going to take away public folders(or considering it anyway).
After reading some whitepapers, sharepoint is the way to do that now?
How can I accomplish this...should I go ahead with a public folder of contacts?
Just getting some feedback...
