Would like to be able to rename SP slots as we have specific people tied to specific SP slots.
There is no end of confusion for clients on this one - they think SP stands for SPECIAL. Once they get that idea, it goes downhill from there. We walk them back by explaining parking lots. But it never lasts. Our users are growing older and they soon forget. "Remind me, what SPECIAL 0 means" should be in our FAQs.
It does seem like "shared park" is a bit of a silly thing to call it. I've modified the configs for our Yealink T46Gs so that they say "Park 1" and so on, which everyone seemed to like better.
+1 Yes, this is a problem, please address. Can it really be that difficult?
If nothing else, changing "SP" to "Park" would be a tremendous help for our clients. "SP" means nothing to receptionist staff. "Park" has meaning.
It should be put it into the system config.
Label to Display for Shared Park (SP) : _______ (maybe drop down options, or limit to 6 characters)
Its easy enough to change in the template so it says Park 1 etc.. I do it all the time. Only problem is then it becomes a custom template
