Currently have CISCO 508G phones, half of them are silent when the DND softkey is pressed. The other half have an audible announcement that states "Do not disturb status set." I've searched for where this setting is located but it would be fantastic to turn this audio prompt off.

I've never heard that ... I'm thinking it's a setting in the Cisco and not 3cx.

Actually this it a 3CX prompt. You should hear it from every phone if you dial *32 (DND status dial code).
Are all your phones provisioned on the same PBX with the same firmware and templates?
Maybe speaker volume is off in the devices you do not hear this prompt?

haha oops I had misunderstood - I was under the impression callers were hearing that when they dialed some extensions that are set to DND.

I saw this back in v10 on Yealink. Some of the phones would dial and hang up... no announcement heard - but status was changed.
It wasn't a deal breaker - but folks had trouble just trusting that the status change did happen.
