    We have about 230 extensions on our current 3CX Phone System covering 20 locations and have no idea how close we are to our Simultaneous Call limit. Ideally, it would be nice to show how many are in use or maximum used for the day.

    I realize we will get an email when we reach the limit, but I would prefer to know this before we reach the limit. Perhaps, having a setting on the Email Notification tab for a manual entry of being notified. For example, if you have a 64 limit, you may want to key in 60, so you can plan a head for your growth versus having to deal with it immediately.

    Having this somewhere to view would take the guess work out of what is being used and allow for better growth planning.

    This would be a great as a report. Possibly as a scheduled report with both an hourly for a 24hr period and a monthly with daily averages. Great Admin info!! Possibly useful for partners needing to convince clients of the need to purchase license upgrades also.

    I remember posting something about this quite long time ago - it was for version 11, and the idea of being able to pull out from the system event logs or something on how many simultaneous calls were being used - but when the 3CX ideas page moved, I haven't been able to find the post.

    Will be up-voting this.

    Even a "max channels used in the last 30 days" or something along those lines would be very useful.

    Even a "high water mark" for each 24 hour period would allow you to have an idea what events are driving up traffic, on what days and plan accordingly.

    Any news on this idea being developed?

    Anyone have a method to search it out in the logs?

    Tracking Number of Concurrent Calls

    Can someone please explain to me how, for a system that is licensed and sold based on the Maximum Number of Simultaneous Calls, it is pretty much impossible except since the last services restart, to review HISTORY of Numbers of Simultaneous Calls.

    My idea would be to add a history collection and retention to expose this data.

    Is there any update on this? We are also baffled at the fact that this information cannot be found within the 3CX system.

    *BUMP* Any update on this? This feature/report has been needed since day 1, especially for software that is licensed on simul calls.

    I see this is listed as 'in progress'. Anyone know when that was set? Cause if it's been in progress since v12, then... well... you know.

    For anyone interested, I created an Excel spreadsheet that can help calculate the max simultaneous calls based on the Call Reports report from 3CX. It's not super fancy, but it gets the job done.

    Why is 3cx not doing anything about this? they could sell more licences if customers knew that they were almost using all licences.
    last 30 days chart per hour simple.. why not add one in...

    This is from our wholesale VoIP portal per sip account. but yes would love to see something like this in 3cx as this is how they are charging us.....

    Typical. No-comment from any 3CX staff.

    It is not hard to implement; they probably don't want to implement this because there's a risk you will realize you pay for too many sim calls and might downgrade your licenses.

    This would be a valuable information for us too, not for our 3CX license per-say, but to properly size our committed/burstable channels with our VoiP provider.

    Anyway.
