SIP Trunk Troubleshooting

    I setup a SIP Trunk but it does not work, what would a troubleshooting plan be to find where the problem is

    You could open a ticket with 3CX or with your trunk provider?

    If you aren't using authentication then of course your SIP provider should have your Static IP address and you should have your firewall configured with the proper settings.

    have you run and passed the Firewall Checker?

    I would start with a bit more information. Is this a VoIP trunk or a gateway? If a VoIP trunk, which provider, if a gateway, what make? What is the problem...trunk not registered, no calls, in and out?

    Did you look for error messages in the event log (after both an outgoing and an incoming call attempt), that will usually go a long way in determining what might be wrong.
