    Dear All,

    I am trying to get to the problem of why my digital receptionist options do not work, i.e. when the caller press 1 or 2 this does not work. I am using a trunk with Sipgate and previously on my Trixbox (A@H new branded) I had no issues.

    Regards

    Keith

    Hi keith,

    were you using the same provider and phone with the trixbox? Can you post server status log when you are dialing in and selecting an option?

    Nick

    Thanks and finally someone is helping. I was using the same Sipgate trunk, number the same cisco 7940 and a grandstream 101 and x-lite. I only have 3 ext - very simple setup.

    I can hear the digital reciptionist message, but pressing any of the options and nothing happens until the message times out.

    The D.R is set up
    Ext - 100
    Timeout - 10 sec
    Action - Repeat Prompt
    Options 1,2,3,4 - all go to 3 different internal ext.

    When dialing into the menu on the Trixbox i used the same telephone and also tried with the same mobile phone. my status log is:

    10:51:18.433 StratInOut::eek:nHangUp: Call from Ln:10000@Sipgate to 100 has been terminated
    10:50:13.590 CallConf::eek:nIncoming: Incoming call from Ln:10000@Sipgate to sip:448450045941@217.10.79.8
    10:49:49.309 ClientRegs::eek:nSuccess: Registration of sip:[mysipnumber]@sipgate.co.uk:5060 is successful
    10:49:48.965 ExtLine::Register: Send registration for "08450045941"<sip:[mysipnumber]@sipgate.co.uk:5060>
    10:36:40.210 StunClient::process: Send initial STUN request to 80.239.235.209

    Hope this helps, not much in the log as i have to hang up after the message has been played.

    thanks

    keith

    Whild guess.

    When you press the number on your phone you got the connection with, can you hear that the number is pressed?

    Reason for asking is that your DTMF might not be configured, if that is not "on". Having said that I believe astrix uses DTMFMODE=rfc2833, so set it to that (you can do this on the phone config).

    Hi,

    If I understood you correctly you are calling in via SipGate to a DR.

    The problem here is that SipGate uses SIP INFO for DTMF (keystrokes). We introduced the handling of SIP INFO DTMF in our new build (RC1).

    Can you please test againt the latest build ?

    yes this is correct and thank you for replying. I did not know Sipgate do this as i have no access to configure this on the Sipgate site.

    The version i downloaded and installed was 2 weeks Build v2.0.1361.0 - 5th February 2007

    I will now download the new update

    Thank you
