Hi All,
I am completely new to 3CX, and to configuring phone systems in general.
I have a couple of questions.
1. If I use the Skype for SIP service, and configure Skype for SIP as a VOIP provider, do I need to use the Skype Gateway.
2. I have assumed that the answer to 1 is No, and have gone ahead and configured Skype as a VOIP provider. I am able to make outbound calls with no problem, but can't figure out what exactly is going on with the inbound calls from Skype. I have a single channel from Skype, and have configured the Skype Port to alllow 1 simultaneous call. When I call the external SKype number it rings a couple of times, and then hangs up as busy. I sometimes get a brief blip on the phone that the VOIP gateway is routed to.
The log file for a single call coming in is below:
08:47:43.548 [CM503008]: Call(2): Call is terminated
08:47:43.282 [CM503025]: Call(2): Calling Ext:Ext.10@[Dev:sip:[email protected]:5060]
08:47:43.204 [CM503004]: Call(2): Route 1: Ext:Ext.10@[Dev:sip:[email protected]:5060]
08:47:43.204 [CM503010]: Making route(s) to <sip:[email protected]:5060>
08:47:43.189 [CM503020]: Normal call termination. Reason: Disabled by Inbound Rule
08:47:43.189 [CM503019]: Call(3): Rejected! Line is 'Busy' because number of simultaneous calls per line Anonymous@(Ln.10000@Skype) is limited by Administrator
08:47:42.735 [CM503012]: Inbound out-of-office hours rule (unnamed) for 10000 forwards to DN:10
08:47:42.720 [CM505003]: Provider:[Skype] Device info: Device Not Identified: User Agent not matched; Capabilities:[reinvite, replaces, able-no-sdp, recvonly] UserAgent: [sipgw-1.0] PBX contact: [sip:[email protected]:5060]
08:47:42.720 [CM503001]: Call(2): Incoming call from Anonymous@(Ln.10000@Skype) to <sip:[email protected]:5060>
08:47:42.189 [CM503012]: Inbound out-of-office hours rule (unnamed) for 10000 forwards to DN:10
My understanding of the log suggests that somehow there seem to be two calls in volved (Call(2) and Call (3)). Call 3 gets rejected because of the rule regarding only one simultaneous calls.
I don't understand enough to be able to do any kind of sane troubleshooting, so if anyone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
thanks
Nigel
