Congratulations! Welcome to Skype's exciting new beta product 'Skype for SIP'. In a continuing sprit of openness, Skype is now enabling even more business conversations by allowing the communications from your traditional phone system to flow through Skype.

With Skype for SIP you simply place and receive calls with Skype using the standards based SIP protocol that many phone systems support natively. No more messy boxes in the middle, no more points of failure, just pure SIP all the way from your place to ours.

By boosting your existing SIP communications solution with Skype for SIP you can now reach a community of over 405 million Skype Customers. At the same time you benefit from reduced costs, higher quality conversations and competitively priced calling rates to national and international destinations. Couple this with global PSTN inbound online numbers and the world is suddenly a smaller place. And all of this without any expensive forklift upgrade of your existing infrastructure!

Please help us free the world's business conversations by signing up to Skype for SIP below and join us in the next evolution of Skype for Business.

To participate in the Skype for SIP Beta Program you will need to create a temporary Skype ID to use for the Beta Program and you must have, and be able to configure, your own SIP Enabled PBX that supports G.729 codec.
