Hi There,
I have setup 3CX Gateway for Skype. The setup was working fine however, after a small LAN reshuffle (don't think is cause). I now cannot establish a successfull Skype connection through 3CX gateway. My outgoing rule seems fine (unchanged from when working). I can see my virtual port 10004 activate in 3CX to initiate with gateway. That works. gateway log shows this:
17:13:18:129 - Info : Incoming call from PBX ringing
17:13:18:129 - Info : Outbound call requested
17:13:18:129 - Info : Creating a Skype call to account [006494422452]
17:13:18:161 - Info : Call (skypeid 3437) created for account [006494422452]
17:13:18:161 - Info : Port check - Port [127.0.0.1:22500] is free
17:13:18:348 - Info : Call (skypeid 3437) identified, [23885] calls [006494422452]
17:13:18:348 - Info : Call (skypeid 3437) identified, [23885] calls [006494422452]
17:13:18:348 - Info : Call (skypeid 3437) has been ended by Skype, reason: failed [remote device error]
17:13:18:364 - Info : PBX call has been ended by PBX
I originally suspected my ISP. I closed down the gateway and fired up skype with the same account as the gateway uses. All good. So I am guess it's not my ISP.
I am not sure where to start looking, I am a little curious about the , [23885] calls [006494422452] though as 23885 is our landline number.
3CX Log looks like this for same call attempt:
