soft phones

    Have a soft phone that does two things at least once a week. 1. Inbound call rings and can't be answered continues to ring. Phone is frozen the only way I can stop is to force closure through Task Mgr - any simpler method?

    Any advice - I have found that on several occasions when I open the soft phone that the profile has been lost and I have to set up again - any ideas why this is happening?

    It always helps to know the details. Whose soft phone? What operating system and type of system is the phone running installed? Any other factors that might lend a clue are also useful.

    Have you looked in the event viewer to see if any logs show something relevant?
