Softphone license

    Hi!!

    I´d like to know if the free 3cx softphone license is opensource and I´ll be able to install it in a company

    I've never seen "Open sourced" mentioned.

    They have made the phone available for use, with no charge. If your company requires a legal description of what that actually entails then you should probably be contacting 3CX directly (or they may reply, in this post).

    I can see two problems with this agreement. The first is that I'm not allowed to install it on my device or any device that doesn't have a hard drive.
    The other is that I must at all times always be making more simultaneous calls than the license lets me.

    I don't think those are real relevant issues. It doesn't say hard drive only device, but magnetic or optical media, which is any current storage media, SSD, hard drives, CD-rom, etc.

    And the the usage limitations refers to the 3CX Phone system not Softphone, meaning whatever your license limitation is on the 3CX phone system, it will apply to the Softphone.
