Good night! I would like to suggest that 3cx could develop in the next version of the phone system the softphone for using over a web browser instead using installed on windows OS or Mac system. It will easier to maintein and use the system using the web browser and very dynamic.

    Regards,

    Re: SOFTPHONE & WEB

Good point. ITs in our roadmap - as an additional client - with the softphone based on WebRTC of course. However its not a small development but certainly one that we will work on to deliver.

Great idea. Having the ability to log into an extension from anywhere in the world could just change the dynamics for the 3CX. Mobile users with numerous devices could definitely benefit from this. Heres my Vote.

Perhaps a bit related, I would like to suggest a major overhaul of the Windows Client as well.
It works, but is not really intuitive or easy to use. Compare it to Skype for Business, for example.

Also, some client settings a currently located in the webadmin. It would be nice (if the user has enough rights of course), if the user could change all of his/her settings through the normal client (and not have to log on to some site to change some settings).

    Hi Nick,

Any ETA for completion? Will we see this in SP5?

We're really interested in this feature

The webRTC Softphone with the ability to build into pages on our customers contact center agents profiles will be a big seller.
Currently we only have Avaya that can do this.
We would love to move these clients and future clients over to our hosted 3cx.
