We have a 3CX v.9 SP1 Installed with language set to IT. I found that we cannot log in voicemail menu calling an external number with IVR because system didn't accept any input or number extension.

Tx

Re: Error accessing voicemail from IVR

Is it not even asking for the input OR is it asking, but not responding to your input?

Re: Error accessing voicemail from IVR

It ask me only for input extension number but if we input the extension it continue to ask.... It doesn't ask for pin.

Re: Error accessing voicemail from IVR

Hi, did you upgrade to SP2?
Also when you reach voice-mail and you put the extension number at the end you are putting the sign # (222#) Correct?
OR you are just putting the Extension? (222)

Thanks

Re: Error accessing voicemail from IVR

3CX v.9 SP2. There is no difference even if i put # after the extension number. The system continue to ask for extension number for 3 times then say "thank you" and close the call.....
Can you confirm that you can access to voicemail with v.9 SP2 ? Maybe is only my isolated problem ?

Re: Error accessing voicemail from IVR

Hi, I can confirm that this works. I tested on all languages not only Italian. Can you send us your backup to [email protected], so I can check it out and replicate this in house.
Thanks and Regards

Re: Error accessing voicemail from IVR

Just open the LoginVmail.vxml file - and search for this field:

<field name="ext_number_field">
<grammar>#|[0-9|*]{3-3}</grammar>
<prompt bargein="true" timeout="10s">
<!--audio src="GetPrompt.aspx?id=EMPTY" /-->
</prompt>
<filled>

and change {3-3} to {2-2} -

In your case this should be like this -

<field name="ext_number_field">
<grammar>#|[0-9|*]{2-2}</grammar>
<prompt bargein="true" timeout="10s">
<!--audio src="GetPrompt.aspx?id=EMPTY" /-->
</prompt>
<filled>

Thanks
