    Hello Forum,

I have noticed that some voicemails continue recording well after the caller has hung up. Is there a setting that I'm missing that allows 3CX to detect a disconnection from the caller and stop recording? Would this be something that needs to be set in the PSTN gateway. We're using a Grandstream GXW4108.

    Regards,

    Stacey.

Yes, it would be at the gateway.

I have had to make adjustments to some Patton devices for a client about this exact issue.

Has to do with something about detecting when the call is over.

    Hi Ian,

    Thanks for your post.

I've had a look on the Channel section of the Grandstream gateway and changed the Call Progress Tones values to those specified at http://www.3cx.com/downloads/misc/GXPblog/CountryToneSetValues.pdf.

    Here's hoping it's fixed now!

    Thanks again for your suggestion.

    Regards,

    Stacey.
