Several issues:
I'm trying something really simple! network of PC's, one PSTN line connected thru a 3102. I'd like to make and receive calls to/from the PSTN.
I set up the 3102 as VoIP gateway according to 3CX instructions. But my 3102 is s/w version 3.3.6(GW) so doesn't quite match.
Found it would register only when the User ID was set to 10000 (the extension no) - otherwise there was an authentication failure.
Now it's registered, but when I make a call it seems the 3102 doesn't know what to do with it. (log below)
Also, incoming calls don't seem to reach the 3CX - I'd expect a notification from the 3102, but nothing.
I entered my IP address in the syslog server and debug server of the 3102 and am running syslogd but get no logs generated, so can't tell what the 3102 thinks of it all.
Thanks for any clues!
regards, John.

Your description is a little confusing as you indicate you want to use the device as an FXO gateway; yet refer to the extension number which implies an FXS device. The 3102 can operate as either or both. The log is indicating that the 3102 is not responding back to the system; hence the timeout error message. This makes it most likely a set-up issue. While it is understood that you want to use the device as the FXO to the PSTN, what are you using to try and initiate the call? The part From: "John Marshall"<sip:[email protected]:5060>;tag=1b59771f is what makes it look like you are using the device as an extension rather than a Gateway.

Leejor, a highly active poster on the forum, knows more about the ins & outs of the 3102 than anyone I know. Do a search for the 3102 and you will likely see the solution to the obstacles as he addressed them all. Otherwise, you will need to be a little more explicit in your desire and some screenshots of the device set-up would help.

Must have missed your post the first time 'round. If you are still having issues, post the PSTN tab from the 3102 (we'll start with that), and go from there. It may be something to do with the port(s) you are using and the one(s) that 3CX thinks you are using.

In addition, explain how you want to use the 3102. Simply as a gateway, or as both a gateway and an extension?

Hello,

My advice
Reset to factory set
and do the settings again

Do not forget
pstn port must be 5062 at 3CX and SPA3102 settings
spa3102 must have the same ip each time
