Hi,

I am running a 3CX v11SP4 without any problems. I can make and receive phone calls.
Also I make use of 3 different VoIP Providers.

When a call comes in, regardless by which provider, the Server Activity Log (Verbose mode) starts always with:
- "Compare IPs: incoming=83.1xx.1xx.1xx; external=210.161.32.1"
- "IPs do not match!"

The incoming IP is related to the VoIP Provider but where the external IP-address comes from..., I don’t know.
The external IP always stay the same and belongs to the “Japan Izumo Cable Vision Co. Ltd.” :O

Does anybody know how to remove or correct this?

Thank you.

Has this been happening the entire time you've used V12, on this machine?

I can only suspect that the IP is on that machine, for some reason. You might want to do a search through the registry for it and find what it is related to. (regedit)

Or perhaps the IP is related to his internet service provider somehow? Is this creating issues? What happens if you block that IP as a Blacklist in 3cx?

Thanks for the answers.

Q. How does 3CX “see” a difference between incoming and external IP’s. 3CX checked something, but what?

@leejor
I am running v11 not v12.
I will check the registry for any IP(?)

@craigreilly
The difference between IP’s does not create any issues (as far as I know). 3CX is functioning properly.
The IP in the blacklist does not resolve this.

Oops, sorry, missed that it is version 11.

Not sure if you are asking how to to this in the registry.

No, thanks.

I have run a registry check and found nothing.

I think to restart 3CX and see if I can find something during the startup.

Does this happen on incoming calls from all 3 providers?

It's funny that both Ping and Tracert, to the IP, dead end

Yes, it happens with 3 VoIP providers: CheapConnect, BudgetPhone and Breezz.

To make it more complicated: when using a Voip-in number from VoipBuster there is no IP check.

When created the trunks I used the Generic VoIP Provider as default.

Here a part of the Server Activity Log (CheapConnect=78.40.244.252)

I only see it on the Cheap Connect call, have you spoken to them about this?

If they deny knowing anything, then...

That leaves a couple of possibilities.

Your ISP has something to do with it, again, probably not.

You have a device (router, SBC,firewall, etc.), between you and your ISP that has that IP, in it, somewhere.

Possible?

Hi leejor,

Thank you for the suggestions, but first I will restart 3CX to see if in the startup sequence “things” are wrong.
Maybe it will be a little clearer, I hope.

It happens not only with CheapConnect but also with BudgetPhone and Breezz.
The CheapConnect call is only as example.

I am using a DrayTek router (vigor 2130n) between ISP and 3CX server.

Maybe have 3CX engineers a solution or an explanation for this.

Very strange…
