When I set up my phones, I've been using an IP address for the SIP server. It's been working great. I recently set up a DNS A-record pointing to the same IP, and then updated my clients to use this domain name instead of the IP address. Now, I can receive calls, but when I try to make calls I see this in the logs:
"Incoming call rejected, caller is unknown"
The FROM line looks like this:
From: "WAE Technologies, Inc."<sip:[email protected]>
When it was working, the FROM line looked like this:
From: "WAE Technologies, Inc."<sip:[email protected]>
Is there any way to make 3cx accept connections from phones even if the domain of the registration isn't the public IP address?
