Sync Google Contacts with Phonebook / Directory Service

    We are looking for a way to synchronize Google Contacts with the Phonebook / Directory Service of 3CX and not the clients. At the moment we are able to use 3CX Client to do that but each user must do that individually and its only useful when the user uses the client. The contacts are not related with the call logs or regonized by the IP phones.

    In our case we use one G Suite user for which we use all the related contacts of the company. This account is synchronized with our CRM system.

    From what i understood from the GUI that cannot be done but is there any workaround?

    Thank you for your feedback. That tool will work with combination of 3CX Client if i'm not wrong. The Phonebook / Directory Service on the other hand will use the contacts globally, from the Call Logs to the IP Phones and Clients. At the moment we export our contacts and import them to the Phonebook Service but that's not the solution. Do you see any interest from other users on enabling Google Contacts Synchronization or can you add it in a wishlist for future updates?

    The server side integration works on the server, not on the 3CX clients. When 3CX receives a call, it will go to your CRM, grab the contact data, and add it as a 3CX global contact. Then, you will see the contact name as the caller name for every call from this contact, no matter the phone you use.
