system disconnects caller

    any help would be appreciated. when i transfer to an extension there is silence and it hangs up the call
    cox sip trunk is 192.1681.4
    3cx is 192.168.1.8
    ip phones are 192.168.1.2xx


    3cx has direct access to 1.4 for the sip trunk
    no firewall on internal lan from 3cx to sip trunk

    calls also get disconnected if put on hold from phone after 30 seconds.

    Probably not the issue - but - uncheck all options under Extension->Options->Troubleshooting - especially Support Reinvites

    What type, (make/model) phones are you using?
    Is the behaviour different when using different types?
    How do you do the transfer? Blind, attended? Transfer button, hook flash?
    Transferring external calls, or an internal calls as well?
    How do you do a Hold? Is this a set feature?
    Did this just start, or has it always been this way?
