Systemwide DISABLING of call record feature

    I have several clients who do not want stations to even be able to record a call. It would be convenient to have this restrict-able per station in the Rights section but more importantly for these clients to be simply disabled system wide under the Settings. These clients deal with a lot of legal entanglements and having the ability to record conversations brings the possibility of a subpoena for such 'evidence' to be provided. The last thing they need is to reply to a request for evidence in the negative only to find that someone has been saving recordings of phone conversations.

    There are liability and privacy concerns if a user records a call without notifying the callers on the line. Disabling this feature would avoid any issues that could arise.
