The file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported.

    Team,

    I had a voicemail come through on an email that was unplayable and had the following error.

    "the file isn't playable. that might be because the file type is unsupported"

    This has happened with a few of the VMs but not all.

    All VMs are being played the same way and are in wav format. (See screenshot).

    I am unsure why most VMs would play fine and others would not.

    Hello @AdamYLO

    The file in the screenshot looks corrupted. Can you playback the message from your phone calling the server directly to see if you can play the message?

    Thank you for the reply. The VM can be played directly on the server.

    The issue happens randomly. Once ever so often a VM will come through on email that can not be played. All over VMs are fine.

    Any ideas?

    Is there an antivirus on the server or the affected users pc that might be interfering with the file? Or a setting for attachments on the email server? Since the file is playable directly from the server i would for the cause elsewhere.
