Timed Call forwarding for Ring Group

    Hi. Does anybody know of anyway to call forward calls to a ring group at a specified (one-off) time?
    I have a customer that requires their incoming Ring Group calls to be forwarded to a specified mobile over Xmas. Basically he asks, "Please can our landlines be forwarded to my mobile from 1pm on the 24th until 5.00pm on the 31st". His "landlines" are SIP trunks that connect to a Ring Group in 3Cx. Many thanks.     You could try forwarding the ring group to a newly created extension. Set up forwarding rules for that extension using the Exceptions Tab, where time of day options can can used.

    Create phantom extensions, tweak the forwarding i.e. profile status as needed. Set specific office hours for that extension and that will do it. We have the very same situation.

    Glad we could help! Don't forget that you should supply the person in charge with the Phantom extension and mailbox PIN so that he/she can call in and change the profile as they see fit. Additionally, Matt @ VoipToys has an APP for that too.
