Timeout for Transfer

    Hi 3CX-Pros,

    i want to realise (i hope) a very simple callflow, but for this i need something like a timeout on the Transfer-Action in VAD.
    At the moment every call will forever be signaled on Extension 11 (Screenshot as Attachment)
    Do you think it is possible to set a timeout, so the next step on the callflow will be done?

    Hi there!

    The VAD only works with blind transfers. That is, once the Transfer component is executed, it is disconnected from the call and you have no more control over it.

    If you need to take different actions depending on that, maybe you can split the callflow in 2 or 3 callflows, and configure the forward options on the extension, for example:
    - From VAD callflow 1, transfer to ext 11
    - Configure ext 11 to revert to VAD callflow 2 after timeout
    - From VAD callflow 2, transfer to ext 12
    - Configure ext 12 to revert to VAD callflow 3 after timeout
    - From VAD callflow 3, send the email

    Be aware that variables are reset for each call, so you will need to call the GetMailAddress component in callflow 3, so it is available for the Email Sender component.
