    Hello 3CX Team,

We would like you to add TLS support for VoIP trunks on your next update.

Nowadays, many VoIP providers support TLS encryption in order to provide better security for their customers.
As all the VoIP trunks are registered through Internet, a normal UDP or TCP transport would be easy for anyone to steal information during a REGISTER or CALL setup INVITE message.
By registering a trunk through TLS, all of these messages are encrypted, so very difficult for someone to steal the sensitive information from a client and making fraud calls on behalf of this customer, causing also a huge bill to be generated to customer's name.

Also consider that the majority of competitors (either free or paid) such as Asterisk based PBXs for example, support TLS several years now.

I believe that security is the number one when talking for IP telephony, so this feature should be included on the next update.

    Thank you.

This really surprises me. How can 3CX claim to have a PBX with strong focus on security when not even the most basic data it handles can be encrypted?

Even in this case some telecoms may require it!
