All features should be (temporarily) possible with the free edition.
I even think that call transfer remains possible after the free trial period. On the other hand the price for the mini version is not that high, right?
Youcan't attach a serial fax modem to my knowlegd to receive faxes on 3CX. Sending faxes from 3CX is never possible.

Transfer should work for you as long as you are under the four concurrent call limit in the free edition. There is a chart on the site listing the various features (restrictions) on each edition. I have never seen anything mentioning a "trial period".

Faxing over VoIP is always "iffy". It comes down to having all the things set up just right, a certain type of fax machine, a certain VoIP provider that handles Fax properly, or an ATA set up to properly handle Fax. Go back through the Forums and you can see some of the problems encountered trying to get a fax machine working over VoIP. If you are lucky, and have everything set up just right, then it might work, but it may require a lot of trial and error before you end up realizing it won't, in your case.

I try to transfer calls with Planet VoIP Phones. They are (i think )not supported by 3cx and that can be problem. If i use 3cx (software) Phones, there is no problem with transfering calls.

Yes they are not supported, You would have to play around a bit to get them to work, if they will at all. It is probably a re-invites, re-places problem. On the other hand you can transfer calls, just remember that a call being transferred you have to add 1 extra call to the call count. so that's 3 calls until there connected even for blind transfer.

You can configure all extensions which are handled by "Planet VoIP Phones" as "supports re-invites=off". It will remove misunderstanding between your phones and 3CX PBX and will make them supported on the 3CX PBX side :)

If you have further question/information/reclamation then please follow guidelines specified in http://www.3cx.com/forums/forum-rules-read-to-get-answers-93.html

    Thanks

Hi, thanks for reply, they was useful, but....

so i configure "supports re-invites=off". The Attendant transfer now work, but Blind transfer not!

Than i try configure "supports re-invites=on" and "support ´replaces´ header=off", but nothing changed.

i make transfering like it is describe in manual for planet phones.that is:
    Blind Transfering:
    1. B call to A and they are in process of conversation
    2. A press "FLASH" button to hold the conversation with B, and input the number of C (follow by the "#" key).
    3. C will ring up, and A hang up the handset.
    4. C picks up the handset and conversation with B.

I try describe the situation. I have 3 Panet Phones with number and id 15, 16, 17. 15 make a call to 16, 16 make a Blind transfer(like is describe in manual for planet phones) to 17.

    and here is log:
