I am having a problem with inbound calls being droped after they have been transfered.

Inboud calls are from PSTN lines using the GXW-4108. The person that answers the phone transfers the call to another extention. Once the other extention has been on the phone for about 30 seconds the call drops.

The phones are SPA941, gateway is GXW-4108 and 4 incoming PSTN lines.

    Here are the logs:

[CM008008] Call(183): Transfer: wrong leg is connected
    [CM104002] Call(183): transfers Ln:10003@Grandstream GXW-4108 from Ext.105 to sip:3cxPbx@192.168.0.101:5060

    [CM104005] Call(183): Setup completed for call from Ln:10003@Grandstream GXW-4108 to Ext.105
    [CM103001] Call(183): Created audio channel for Ln:10003@Grandstream GXW-4108 (192.168.0.160:5004) with Media Server (192.168.0.101:7374)

    Thanks for your help.

    Transfer to linksys

    Hi guys

I have tested this however I have successfull results, the fact that you have stated that the call disconnects after 30 seconds could be the source of many other issues.

I have tested using the exact devices mentionned below - Incoming from PSTN / VOIP --> Grandstream gateway --> to extension X transfered to Linksys and directly to Linksys.

The issue that worries me is the statement in the logs "Wrong Leg is Connected". Are you using a Version 3 PBX - because this must not appear on a Version 5 of the 3cx PHONE SYSTEM. In fact this is a version 3 PBX from the date of the first post - dated August. Version 5 during that period was still in early development.

This is surely because of the transfer you are effecting. Wrong Leg is connected can have many reasons - but the most important thing here is that this shows that the transfer has not been completed properly (Even though the transfer is successfull and you can hear audio on both ends of the connection). This transfer has not been 100% complete and will result in problems. Example - a disconnection with no apparent reason.

    Regards

    Nicky
