Transfer on SPA942

    I’m unable to transfer calls coming from external lines to different extensions.
    Scenario details:
    1. Incoming call answered by extension 101
    2. Hit soft transfer button on the phone, caller can hear music on hold.
    3. Dialing extension 202 and announcement of transfer.
    4. Then pressing transfer button on 101 extension.
    5. Caller is on hold. Extension 202 can hear silence.
    6. When extension 202 disconnect caller can hear noises

    Blind transfer works. Attended transfer works when call comes from internal extension.
    I’m using Patton 4114 for external lines.
    Any idea how to resolve this problem?

    It does work, at least on my setup. Are you having this problem with just one set or a number? From all external calls, different trunk groups?
    Perhaps you can post a 3CX log of the failed transfer.
