Transfering Calls

    Hello All,

    I've just set up 3CX on a test system to well test out 3CX. I have a quick question though.

    Is there anyway to change how 3CX handles transfering calls?

    At the moment Person1 calls Person2, but Person1 needs to be transfered to Person3...
    3CX handles this at the moment by dumping Person1 on to Person3..
    Is there anyway to be able to allow Person2 to tell Person3 what the call is about etc before Person1 is transfered..

    This is a phone feature. Most phones allows to start a new call. The first call will be set on hold. The second call can be transfered to call one. I hope this would help you. Wich phone are you using?

    HI,

    Thanks for your reponse, I suppose that makes sense really.

    I'm currently using Grandstream GXP-2000, although our main phone if I put 3CX live will be Cisco7941 phones. I've yet to set these up with 3cx..
