transfers from Queues by 3cx assistant not working

    3CX Phone System Issue:

    When logged into the queues, if you transfer a call with the assistant (even when a call is not waiting in the queue) from anywhere on the 3CX application, the calls rings to your phone, but it is dead air. The person on the other end can hear you, but you cannot hear them, and have to call them back. When you make the call afterward, it works fine.

    If you log out of the queues and THEN transfer the calls by the 3cx assistant, it works properly.

    Is this a bug that needs worked on. We are running Beta 2 right now, or is there a fix for it?

    Joe - I think the one-way audio may just be a symptom because I tried exactly what you described and it worked wonderfully on my system. Can you post some logs in code /code tags? Lets take a look and see what is going on...

    Seems to be happening in more scenarios then previously mentioned. One tested scenarios, that is kind of a work around I noticed, at least on the last call.
    I called with my cell phone into the 3cx system through a sip trunk.
    The call went into the queue (cell phone has audio at this point).
    I grab it with the 3cx assistant out of the queue by right clicking and going to pick up
    Cell Phone doesn't have audio as well as my desk phone (polycom 501)
    Put Call on hold with desk phone, on hold music appears on the cell phone
    Take call off hold from desk phone. Two way conversation - its working
    Next just as a thought,
    I put call into the parked calls from assistant
    took call out of parked calls from assistant.
    No Audio again on both phones.
    Put call on Hold from desk phone
    Took Call out of Hold from Desk phone - Two way conversation - its working.

    This scenario is consistent with pots lines or the sip trunk.

    Any Ideas? Should I upgrade to version 9 rc1 to see if it is fixed? Don't seem to see anything to this effect in the change log

    I will try to get a log except soon.

    Tried to replicate this on another phone, even though the issue did happen on this other phone and its working on it. So I tried on my office phone again and its working there now too. hmm. Any Ideas? Its not happening all the time.

    I would suggest you do the upgrade to RC1 since we had a similar issue that was fixed recently.

    I tried replicating your scenario unsuccessfully.
