I am new to 3cx and am considering switching my entire house and home office to IP phones. I have installed 3cx and have configured the SIP settings for my provider (Viatalk). So far, I have two soft phones working. I am able to make calls from either phone with no issue.

The problem I am having is that when an inbound call is received, it rings on extension 101, but not extension 100. I created a group 800 called "all phones" and set the inbound rule to send calls to this rule, but only the one phone receives the call.

Can anyone suggest what I can check to correct this issue?

    Thanks,
    Nick

ps - I also have a newbie question about using a PSTN interface, but I will create a new topic.

Post the 3CX log of an incoming call.

Thanks. Your request helped me solve my problem. After turning up the logging level, I realized it was using an "after hours" rule to forward inbound calls to port 101. I changed the rule, restarted my soft phones and now both phones ring when there is an inbound call.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right directions.
