    I have 2 snom 300 phones (ext 10 , 11) and 1 3cx softphone setup (ext 12).

Neither snom phone can call each other. The snom phone can call the softphone ok but the softphone can not call either snom phone.

Here is the log. I can not see why the error is Forbidden

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Any idea which setting is wrong. The page refers to the Snom 320, cant find one for the Snom 300. Are they the same?

Thew only thing I have set up is the "Identity 1"

    Display Name : Shopdesk
    Account : 11
    Password : 11
    Registrar : 192.168.1.15

Made sure that the profile is active also.

I would recommend to use separate PC with fresh installation of Windows XP Home and 3CX without any other sotfware. Because any falure of server hardware or software make your telephone system unavailable. I never combine telephony server with any other server because it must work 7x24.

With my 2800vg i had to change the port on the internal voice setup to somthing other than 5060 (i used 50600) as the draytek was taking all the voice traffic even though none of the voice setups were enabled.

Assign you Snom Phone static IP addresses and try it again.

Surley static IP addresses should be no differant from DCHP addresses.

It should not make a difference.
It does help to eliminate unknown variables though.

As you said, the router does have its own VoIP functionality and DHCP might interact with that via UPnP.

I will try setting static IP addresses in the morning. Strange thing is that a number of soft phones installed will all work. I also have a number set up from VoipUnlimited and I can dial in from a BT line and the soft phones all ring and can answer the call. 2 way conversation is fine. The Snom phones do not ring though.

I can call the soft phone from The Snom phones and everything works fine there. I can not call the Snom phones from the soft phone (status says "Not Found")

Not sure but looks like the Snom phones are not responding when asked to ring??

DHCP and UPnP do not interact.

I updated the flash on the Snom on Saturday but it didn't make any difference.

If I understand things, if I call one Snom to the other the traffic goes directly between them and not through the 3cx software?

I remember reading that I could dial the IP address of the onther phone and it should connect.

I dialed 192*168*1*100 and pressed the tick. The display changed to 192.168.1.100 but no call connected.

    Check http://www.3cx.com/support/source-identification-err-2.html
Check RTP protocol settings on Snom
