Solved Unable to Make Outgoing Calls using a Google VM 3CX Server and Flowroute with Static IP

I just replaced my local 3CX server with one provisioned by Google Cloud Platform with a static IP number. In 3CX-->SIP Trunks-->Flowroute-->Edit-->General, outbound proxy is set to the static IP #; Type of Authentication is set to "Do not require - IP Based; Authentication ID and Authentication Password are still set to what they were before the move to GCP (Registered/Account based).

All outbound rules are now set to prepend the Flowroute SIP account number to the route: 60#####8*1

In the Flowroute web console, Preferences-->Fraud Control is now set to "Outbound SIP Credentials (Disabled).

All phones, extensions, and the SIP trunk in 3CX show green but I can't make any outgoing calls. The Grandstream 1625 handset reports a "404 NOT FOUND" error.

The actual log entries in 3CX show the following are confirmed but I've obfuscated the Flowroute account number, number dialed, and the static IP number with hash (#) symbols for security reasons.

I would appreciate any insights anyone has.

Double check your authentication settings in your trunk management.

You are correct. With the move to GCP, there is no need for an "Outbound Proxy" value anymore. Set this value to a NULL string, and outbound calls now work.
