We are new to this, and liking what we see thus far, although we're having difficulty getting set up. We installed the free version of 3CX and have a number of Uniden SIP200 phones. These use TFTP to download their settings, and that is working fine, but the phone won't register with the 3CX server, it returns a "register error" on the phone and the server shows it as not registered.

I set this extension to ID 101 and password miqna

    Here is the unidencom.txt file:

    # UIP200 Mass Configuration System Generic File
    # Notes:
    # 1. Lines start with '#' are comments, it is also possible to append a comment to the
    # end of a line by preceding the '#' with ASCII space or tab characters.
    # 2. To leave a field value unchanged (as saved on local phone), leave value to blank.
    # 3. To set a field's value to empty, use '-' as value.
    # 4. To NOT overwrite user local settings of: programmable key, one/two touch keys, VMA
    # number, VMWILampIndicator, set "OverwriteLocalSetting = NO". Default is "YES". This
    # key will ALSO affect whether or not THESE settings in uniden<MAC>.txt be used.
    # 5. Any duplicate parameters exist in both unidencom.txt and uniden<MAC>.txt, MAC settings
    # will be used.

Too late for that, we have 16 of the phones. If we can't get 3CX to work, it will be on to another PBX. I really like this one though, and there should be no reason why it won't work.

Since my last post, I was able to get the phone to register. Turned out that the 3CX service on the server just needed to be restarted.

I installed a 3CX softphone and two of the Uniden UIP200 phones, and set them into a ring group. Got the line set up OK too. When calling in, only the softphone rings though.

Any help from an admin please???

    David
