The free version does not have fax support, so I was wondering if anyone knows:

I have some fax machines connected to ATAs that are T.38 compatible. I would like to know if 3cx is capable of sending faxes from these devices out through a PSTN device (specifically I have a Grandstream 4104). Also, I need to be able to receive a fax from the PSTN and relay it to the fax machine.

    Thanks!

You might be able to try your fax devices by utilising the 2-user limited license to evaluate the faxing componet of 3CX - possibly worthwhile running past them to prove that your gear works (which it should)

    Cheers, Brendan

Sorry all, I have moved on to another solution. I am using an AudioCodes TP1610 cPCI board for my faxes, and it is working quite well.
