Would it be possible to use voice-enabled modems (such as the Diamond SupraExpress 56i/e) as ATA devices? Either as FSO or FSX or both?

    Modems can not be used

    Hi Watashi,

No, unfortunately modems can not be used. Its much better to use VOIP gateways. We have succesfully tested with the Grandstream VOIP gateway, which costs $249 for a 4 port model or $395 for an 8 port model. There are also 1 port devices from Sipura at $89. Its much better to use these devices then a modem.
