    Hi folks,
i've a strange issue which i do not understand.

It is possible to make and revice calls over 3G (i can hear and talk to the other person) but not over Wifi.

    Some information:
    Phone Model: iPhone
    Generation: 4G
    Firmware Version: 4.3
    Jailbreak: NO
    Cydia Installed: NO

I am using the external server by dns (pbx.company.ch) and the 3cx stun server (stun.3cx.com) . The local sip Port on the device is 5060 and the first rtp port is 4000. TCP Transport is disabled but the nat-helper is enabled.

    Now some logs:

--> I've replaced my public ip with "my-public-ip" and the pbx hostname with pbx.company.ch

    Call over 3G
    This one is working

    Code:

The first three lines are very strange. I am connecting over the same firewall on my workplace. The only different thing is, at home I am using a fritzbox. The funny thing is, it was working some weeks ago...

Can you help me with this issue?

    Marco

    Hi folks,

    there is an update :)

i've tried it with another wifi (not at home) and there it is working.

It looks like a fritzbox issue :(

Issue is that u put the server always as you would see the server external.
But in the phone you see 2 fileds.
    Internal Server:
    External Server:
And an togel Box above them.

When you are in ur WiFi where als the PBX is disable togel and put the IP of the PBX in the internal server.
If you on 3G or on ur mates WiFI enable the toggle and put the PUB IP of ur PBX in the external server.

Tech speaking, in the moment u use the external server the phone goes to the internet and finds out his external ip at the time and uses this to tell the pbx where it is. so if you are internaly and tell the pbx you are external the pbx goes and looks for you external where you are not...

Re: Calls over 3G Possible but not over WLAN

    Hi Stefan,
    thanks for your replay.

The WIFI is at home and the pbx is in my corp lan some miles away.

I've enabled the "use external server" toggle when I am using my wifi at home. I've enabled the toggle too on my friends wifi. There is no wifi at work, just 3G.

    Best regards
    Marco

Ohhh fritzBox dont work mate. in a fritz box is an integrated sip server fetching all sip data away for you.
youc an try to set the sip port in ur phone to a different one then port 5060. in the version 1.0.23 you can change this and may give it another go. but it will be hard....

what i would do is start a vpn connection from the iphone to the lan and just work with the internal IPs
